NEW SIGNING: Josh McCammon

King’s Lynn Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Josh McCammon.

Josh returns to the Linnets as our seventh signing of the summer.

A graduate of the Northampton Town academy, Josh joined Peterborough Sports in 2017. During his seven years with the Turbines, he made over 300 appearances and was part of two promotion-winning sides, helping the club rise from Step 4 of the English football pyramid to the National League North in 2022.

Josh departed Peterborough Sports in 2024 and joined the Linnets for the first time. He enjoyed a successful season in blue and gold, making 40 appearances in all competitions during the 2024/25 campaign as the Linnets secured a play-off place.

Josh left the Linnets last summer, joining Spalding United in Step 3. There, he enjoyed another successful campaign, helping the club secure promotion to the National League North via the play-offs.

Josh had this to say upon his return to the club:

“I’m delighted to be back, I enjoyed my first season here, looking forward to getting started again.

In my first season, the fans were excellent, the team was excellent, why wouldn’t I want to come back”.

Manager Paul Caddis had this to say regarding Josh’s arrival:

“We are delighted to welcome Josh McCammon back to King’s Lynn Town for his second spell at the club.

Josh was part of the squad that helped the club reach the play-offs during his previous stint and returns with a wealth of experience at this level. He brings tremendous energy, versatility and quality, being comfortable in possession and capable of playing in a number of positions across the pitch.

His durability and reliability are clear to see, having made over 120 appearances across the last three seasons. Just as importantly, the last two seasons have seen Josh competing at the top end of the division, fighting for success and bringing with him the winning mentality and standards that every squad needs.

Josh also has a real affinity with this football club and our supporters, and that feeling is very much mutual. He knows what King’s Lynn Town means to the fans, understands the expectations and culture of the club, and we are delighted to have someone returning who already has such a strong connection with the place.

I’m delighted to bring Josh back to the club and I look forward to working with him once again.”

Welcome back, Josh.
