Morgan Williams Joins Harrogate Town.

King’s Lynn Town Football Club can confirm the sale of Morgan Williams to Harrogate Town for an undisclosed fee.

Having signed for the club last summer, Morgan regularly featured within our first team throughout his time at The Docherty Walks, making 48 appearances last season. Scoring eight times.

We would like to place on record our thanks to Morgan for his service to the club, giving his all every time he stepped out in Blue and Gold.

Everyone at King’s Lynn Town wishes Morgan all the very best for the future.

Manager Paul Caddis had this to say regarding the departure of Morgan Williams;

“Morgan Williams was an integral and important player for me when I took over with 12 games remaining in the season. His character, professionalism and attributes were a huge factor in helping us secure our survival, and naturally losing a player of Morgan’s quality is disappointing.

However, a move to a club competing at the level above, combined with a contractual release clause, meant we had to respect the situation and allow Morgan to move on with our best wishes.

Part of football is giving players the platform to develop and perform, and when they do that successfully they will naturally attract interest from higher levels. Morgan earned this opportunity through his performances, professionalism and commitment to the club.

While one door closes, another opens. We are already working hard behind the scenes and will be bringing in fresh faces to strengthen the squad as we continue building for the future.

On behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to thank Morgan for everything he has contributed during his time here and wish him and his family every success and happiness at Harrogate Town AFC. He leaves with our gratitude and our very best wishes for the next chapter of his career.”
